Fusilli Spicy Bites

Spiral pasta has many uses. The Fusilli spicy bites are just one enjoyable way to have a snack with out the plastic bag.


These Fusilli pasta spicy snacks are a delightful treat with a cup of tea. Even without the tea, they make a great little snack and so easy to make.


What you will need:

500g of Fusilli

Large pot boiling water salted

Corn starch

Large wok

Oil of choice



Spices

Cumin powder 1/2 tea spoon

Black pepper 1/2 tea spoon

Chili powder 1/2 tea spoon

Chaat masala 1/2 tea spoon (or lemon juice)


Directions

Into a large pot of salted boiling water add your Fusilli pasta. Allow to cook for around 8 - 10 minutes till al dente. Drain and cool with room temperature water. Allow to cool.


Sprinkle corn starch over and through the pasta covering well. Heat the wok and add enough oil to cover the pasta. Cook till turning light brown and then remove to drain. Place in large bowl.


Mix the spices together and sprinkle them over the pasta covering all to get an even texture.


There you have it. A great snack treat for friends or when just chill-in.


Enjoy. I like my tea so they go hand in hand. Any beverage will do and they keepin a plastic container.
